A severe accident in Rousse causes death of a year-and-a-half-old baby /VIDEO/

A year- and- a- half years  old baby was killed in a severe accident in Rousse. The incident, in which 3 more were injured, happened shortly after 9pm.

The crash was caused by a BMW registered in Targoviste. Shortly after a turn, the car left its lane and cut through the dividing strip. It was probably because of the high speed that it drifted away and as a result crashed into the pillar of the bridge, which stretches over the road.

Three ambulances and teams of firefighters were sent to the site to remove the victims. A 43-year-old driver with broken ribs, a 45-year-old woman in serious, life-threatening  condition and a 17-year-old girl with a broken leg were taken to hospital. Unfortunately, the baby who was traveling in the car died on the spot. The reasons for the accident are being investigated.

Police found out the 43-year-old driver had no license and had been driving drunk with 2.44 parts of alcohol. He also has 10 different sentences and was released from prison several years ago. The man is being held permanently in custody until the trial for the death of the baby is scheduled.
